Position Summary:
Regina Group, Inc. is a US corporation with several departments including Architecture, Engineering and Construction, Web Services, Internet and Related Services. We are represented in Rwanda by Talent Contractors Ltd and the business developer will work under the direct supervision of the General Manager of our representative and will report to the Chairman of the Group by email / phone / fax on a weekly basis.
We are looking for an innovative and motivated Business Developer to join our growing new team. The incumbent will be responsible for analysis of our customers and current sales strategies and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability. We are looking for a creative candidate and willing to think outside the box regarding our clients and their needs. Candidates with sales experience who are analytical and motivated are doing well in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Business DEVELOPER:
Real spearhead in the development of our activities, your main mission is to develop our sales to all customers:
 Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with the General Manager to achieve revenue goals.
 Participate in corporate branding and media communications activities such as press releases, advertisements, marketing materials and the website.
 Build strong relationships with customers, external business contacts and corporate stakeholders
 Review and communicate proposals and cost estimates to clients and stakeholders
 Negotiating timelines and budgets
 Develop and test unique business strategies and concepts
 Collaborate with colleagues and peers on sales, marketing and product development teams to improve customer experience and overall satisfaction
 Keep up-to-date with company best practices, policies, products, prices and promotions
 Increase sales efficiency and profitability through excellent sales
 Analyze current and past budgets, expenditures, sales, revenues and deficiencies of products to provide recommendations for business growth and problem solving.

 Analyze the business demography to identify and propose investment opportunities for new business opportunities.
 Explain to potential customers the benefits of the products or services offered and follow up with them to conclude the business.
 Respond to customer requests for products in a timely manner.
 Develop business proposals for new and existing customers.
 Develop creative strategies to retain clients, including interviewing them to take their comments and incorporate them into the growth plan.
 Prepare the annual marketing budget and track expenses against the budget.
 Develop in-depth knowledge of business development practices, marketing activities, potential clients and industry trends.
 Maintain a knowledge repository of clients, referrals, requests for proposals, perspectives and presentations.
 Develop strong customer relationships to generate a high volume of potential customers.
 Effectively manage customer calls and appointments for new opportunities.
 Participate in industry forums, client discussions and conferences as a representative of the organization.
 Identify cross-selling opportunities between different offices.
 Oversee the customer relationship management database and use it to manage customer contacts and mailing lists.
 Hire, train and guide associates in marketing and business development.

Desired Profile for the Position:
 Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Management, Business Administration or related field preferred with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
 Critical thinking skills, analytical, organized
 Creative, good to think "out of the box"
 Persuasion skills
 Ability to travel when necessary to meet clients and / or stakeholders and establish business relationships
 Must be available full time
 Organized team player, goal oriented
 Encourage the team and staff; able to coach and direct
 Eager to expand the company with new sales, customers and territories
 Able to analyze sales data and statistics and translate results into better solutions
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Able to multitask, prioritize and effectively manage time
 Motivated and self-directed
 Experienced in the compilation and monitoring of strict budgets
 Experienced in the preparation and presentation of quarterly objectives and forecasts for future projects
 Comfortable in a role of leader and team player
 Creative problem solver who thrives when faced with a challenge
 Three to five years of experience in sales, management, customer service, finance, administration or a related field
 Experience in proven and verifiable sales results of a minimum turnover of RWF 1,000,000 per month in the last 12 months
 Professional computer skills, Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
 Fluid communication in person, on the phone and by email
 Respect all non-competition / solicitation agreements
 Excellent command of English, French, Kinyarwanda languages, knowledge of Swahili is an asset.
 Be 40 years of age at most at the date of submission of the application.

Type of Contract:
 Fixed-term contract
 The incumbent will have a trial period of three (3) months during which he/she must be able to justify a minimum turnover of RWF 3,000,000 during this trial period, otherwise the trial period shall be considered inconclusive and the contract terminated.
 The incumbent will be remunerated by commission for the percentage of contracts concluded and projects successfully developed at the rate of 10% after taxes.
 The incumbent will receive RWF 100,000 per month representing logistics costs.
